Morocco’s National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (ANRT) has issued a new decision (ANRT/DG/N°12/23) outlining stricter technical specifications for the type approval of terminal equipment and radio installations.
Deze wijzigingen omvatten:
Uitbreiding van de technische specificaties: invoering van nieuwe technologische normen zoals 6GHz WiFi 6E, GPON, GNSS en ESIM
Verbeterde veiligheidsvoorschriften: strengere eisen voor elektromagnetische compatibiliteit, elektrische veiligheid bij lage spanning, blootstelling van het menselijk lichaam aan radiofrequentie, enz.
Cellulaire apparaten ondersteunen ten minste 4G: alle gebruikersapparaten met cellulaire interfaces moeten nu ten minste 4G (LTE) -technologie ondersteunen
5G-apparatuur is compatibel met 5G S: 5G-gebruikersapparatuur moet compatibel zijn met 5G SA (stand-alone) om optimale netwerkprestaties te garanderen
